Paige's Made up Mild Chili

"My old chili was kind of boring, so I created this recipe on a whim. My fiance likes spicy chili, I like not so much spice. So I came up with this delicious in between. It has lots of fresh vegetables and can easily be changed each time you make it."

  • Brown the beef and sausage.
  • Combine vegetable juice, chili seasoning, beefy onion soup mix, and all beans into large pot.
  • Chop up onion, garlic, and peppers. Optional- add some of the onion and garlic to the meat while it is browning.
  • When meat is done, add it to the pot
  • Add onion, peppers, and garlic to the pot.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Bring pot to a boil.
  • Simmer for about a half hour, depending how soft you like your vegetables.
  • Let cool and ENJOY! Sprinkle some shredded cheese over it, too :).
