Pancake Mix Biscuits

"You want to make biscuits fast, but you discover that you're all out of biscuit mix (or flour...I'm guilty of this one)! Oh no! What can you do? You can grab your off-the-shelf pancake-and-waffle mix off the shelf, and get to work. That's what you can do!"

Questions & Replies

  1. Is this for the complete pancake mix or the mix that requires egg and milk?

Reviews

  1. I made these biscuits for my family and they were AMAZING! I did not add any additional sugar since I was using buttermilk pancake mix, also, I use less milk. Sooooooo delicious and quick to make!

  2. Yummy! Printed for my recipe Book. I read the reviews and only used 1 TB of sugar and they were perfect!

  3. These biscuits are quick and easy to make. They're super light and fluffy. BUT, they are far to sweet to eat with gravy. They're good with butter, honey, jam, and would probably be GREAT with chocolate gravy, just not with pepper gravy.

  4. Not the worst and they worked in a pinch. They are a little sweet but considering I needed them and didn’t want to go to store we ate with gravy and the gravy made up for the sweetness. Would definitely be good for jelly biscuits

  5. We made it with buttermilk pancake mix. Nice with just butter or peaches and whip cream! Do keep a very close eye. Followed recipe exact.
