"pancakes" in a Bowl

"This is just a random recipe that I decided to try while I was in one of my experimental moods in the kitchen! It's great plain, but I like it with a sprinkling of powdered sugar or syrup! :)"

  1. Made in a regular "soup" bowl, mine was quite "wet" in the middle. Also, I think a "flatter" bowl would help the pancake concept! I made with milk, and used maple syrup for the topping. Very quick and easy breakfast, Thanks for sharing!

  2. This was really good and so easy to make. I followed the recipe as written using the milk and mine cooked up in 1 min and 50 seconds. My son and I both enjoyed this. They were very filling. I topped ours with maple syrup. Tasted like a pancake to me. Great recipe- thanks for sharing.

  4. What a great idea! The texture of this was a bit more like a dumpling than a pancake but what the heck - a "pancake" breakfast in 2 minutes with only one dish - can't beat that! I used the milk option and mixed a little syrup with some strawberry preserves for the topping. I think it would be great to toss a couple of blueberries into the mix and will try that next time. Thanks for posting this recipe! Made for Spring Pick-A-Chef 2011

  5. Sounds great I don't have bisquick instead I am using Aunt J's pancake mix. I will let you know how it works.
