Pao De Ló De Ovar

"I got this recipe from a friend of mine, she makes every Easter, there are various recipes for Pao de Lo, all depending in what region of Portugal your living in. Each one has their own unic recipe. I hope you enjoy this one as much as I do. P.S. the secret to this cake is the longer its beaten with the sugar, the better it is."

  • Preheat oven to 440º.
  • Beat the 2 eggs with sugar until its very fluffy.
  • Now slowly add in the egg yolks, and beat for another about 10 to 15 minute.
  • Slowly fold in flour.
  • Pour into a round cake pan, lined with wax paper.on bottom and sides of pan.
  • Place in oven and let cook for 15 minutes.

I have 2 dogs .and a canary. >I'm famous for my cheese pate, everyone that tries it gets addicted to it and a few other goodies.. Also my Blackforest cake, is always on demand. I don't really have a favorite restaurant. My passion is the oceon, I LOVE to sit on the rocks and watch the waves roll in and out, its so relaxing, and gives me such peace!!!!
