Parmesan Chicken Wings

"Another military wife I know shared this delicious recipe with me. Sherry originally found this recipe in an issue of Taste of Home. This is my adaptation of her version. I always have a bag of frozen wings in the freezer for last minute guests and this recipe is great for using them, since no thawing is required."

  1. This was a super easy recipe and they turned out scrumptious! Loved the taste and the fact I could make them from frozen! Very convenient for company or a late night snack! Thank you so much for posting!

  2. The most important instruction was omitted----EAT! Made for Alphabet Soup Tag.

  3. these were actually pretty good, next time im going to add jalapeno juice or something. i used fresh wings. baked at 350' for 55 min.

  4. Delicious -- even though we used chicken thighs instead of the wings! The thighs were thawed so we used the cooking time indicated! We will be making this again using wings or other chicken pieces. Thanks for sharing this simple recipe!

  5. This was a hot mess. Dip in the butter, then dip in the cheese mixture- cheese mixture sticks to the butter and the butter + cheese mix falls right off the chicken. Now I have a bowl of play dough textured cheese butter mess that won’t stick to anything.

Tweaks

  1. These are excellent wings. I used 2/3 cup parmesan and 1/3 cup bread crumbs and cut the salt to 1/2 tsp. I have used water instead of the butter to dip the wings in before coating with the breading in order to cut calories. It is just as good. I have used this recipe with chicken breasts and it is delicious.
