Parmesan Fried Chicken

"I came up with this recipe when my husband wanted fried chicken, but I wasn't in the mood for traditional. Now, he asks for this at least once a month. I usually serve it with a salad and garlic bread. It's delicious!"

  1. What a great idea to have fried chicken without the breading. Absolutely wonderful. Next time I will add some minced garlic to the egg instead of the powder and perhaps a little hot sauce. Also added a little butter to the oil to fry them. Cannot wait to try this on pork chops too. Thank you so much!! Loved this.

  2. Fantastic recipe enthusiastically enjoyed by the entire family. Next time, I will only use one egg for dipping as I threw quite a bit away. I used the green can Parmesan as well, and it was very successful. Thanks for posting.

  3. Crispy, moist and delicious! Great low carb fried chicken. Be patient and let the coating set before flipping---at least 4 minutes per side. Thanks for sharing.

  4. Disappointed. But shocked by all the good reviews. My husband made this based on reviews. It wasn't flavorful at all. No salt or pepper even? I feel like I'm in an alternate reality because no way did all these people do 5 stars. I rarely write reviews unless the recipe was amazing but I feel obligated to warn others.

  5. This chicken is really good! I love that there is no flour and that it's less messy in preparation. I also love that I can actually taste the breading. :) This is my favorite recipe for fried chicken! I also forgot to add that I deep fried my chicken and heated the oil to 375 degrees. I simply plopped the chicken pieces in the frying basket, and very little coating fell off. I cooked each batch for 4 minutes.
