Directions

  1. Cook pasta according to directions. Drain and return to the pot.
  2. While pasta cooks, heat 1 tsp olive oil in a small skillet, add Panko and toast until golden. Make sure to stir frequently.
  3. In a large skillet heat the rest of the olive oil, add Brussels sprouts, garlic and red pepper flakes and cook about 6 minutes.
  4. Stir in broth, zest, salt and pepper to taste. Cook until Brussels sprouts are slightly tender. Remove from heat and combine with pasta. Mix in cheese.
  5. To serve, top with toasted Panko and pine nuts.
