Paula Deen's Chicken Nuggets

"These look wonderful and easy because they're baked, not fried, and they get their flavor from sour-cream-and-onion-flavored potato chips. What an idea! Paula says to serve them with her Honey Mustard Sauce, which I have also posted. She also says that they can be frozen after baking."

  1. I have made these more than a few times. Our favorite is when we use Salt and Vinegar chips, the more vinegar bite the better. We have also used BBQ and Sour Cream and Cheddar chips also. All are wonderful!!!

  2. We had these for supper last week and they were absolutely wonderful ! Thank you sooo much for sharing !

  3. I made these into more like strips then nuggets and used bbq flavored potato chips instead of sour cream and onion. They were pretty good..crunchy coating and the meat was moist. I think next time I may try them with plain potato chips. Oh! I just realized I forgot to drizzle the melted butter on them! Well, that might make them taste different. I'll have to remember that step for next time. Thanks for posting!

  2. Most excellent!! We loved this recipe.:) I used whipping cream in place of milk and added black pepper to the mixture than I let the nuggets soak in milk mixture about 10 minutes before placing in the chip mixture. This is a keeper! Thanks so much for sharing the recipe!

I love to cook! I also love to take complicated recipes and make them simpler. Who wouldn't like to have fewer pans to wash?
