ingredients
- 1 lb softened unsalted butter
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 cup sugar
- 5 - 5 1⁄2 cups flour
directions
- Preheat the oven to 375.
- Cream the butter and sugar. Add vanilla and flour.
- Mix together until "workable".
- Using your hands, roll out "ropes" of dough and shape as desired (logs or balls).
- Bake 10-15 minutes.
- If desired, roll in confectioner's sugar or;.
- Shape dough into "logs" and when cool dip half of it into melted chocolate, then roll in toasted coconut.
