Pawpaw Pie

"Found this on the internet. It has very few directions. Reading CJAY's review maybe cornstarch should be added."

  1. I'm sorry but this didn't work for me. The directions are too vague. I tried using the blender to puree the pawpaw. Then I added the milk, salt, and egg and let it cook 30 minutes. I added cinnamon, ginger, and cloves and cooked it 15 minutes more. I baked it at 350 for 1 hour. At that point it looked done but as it cooled it thinned back out. I think it needs a thickener or more eggs. The taste wasn't bad so it has potential. Thanks for sharing. Made for ZWT7-Pacific Islands. Update: I removed the stars in fairness to the chef who is working on corrections to this recipe.
