  1. rinse quinoa thoroughly and drain.
  2. bring broth and quinoa to a boil.
  3. reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. turn off heat and let sit for 15 to 20 minutes.
  5. remove quinoa to salad bowl and let cool completely.
  6. combine tomatoes, cucumber, green onion, parsley and basil.
  7. make dressing- combine lemon juice, oil, garlic.
  8. toss together.
  9. add salt and pepper to taste.
