- 7 cups peaches, sliced, peeled
- 1⁄3 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice

BISCUITS
- 3⁄4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1⁄2 cup whole wheat flour
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar, packed
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1⁄4 cup butter, cubed
- 1⁄2 cup milk
directions
- BISCUITS: In bowl, whisk together all-purpose and whole wheat flours, sugar, baking powder and salt. Using pastry blender or 2 knives, cut in butter until in coarse crumbs.
- Using fork, stir in milk to make ragged dough. Set aside.
- In large bowl, toss together peaches, sugar, flour and lemon juice. Transfer to 8-inch square glass baking dish. Bake in 350F oven for 20 minutes.
- Drop dough by 9 heaping 1 tablespoons onto hot fruit mixture. Bake until biscuits are golden and no longer wet underneath, about 50 minutes.

<br>I guess the dish that I am famous for is my Christmas ham - my family all comes home for Christmas, and if i don't have my ham they are dissapointed, and my grandson wants the pistachio squares!!! so I guess that is the dishes that I'm famous for.
