directions

  • cream butter and sugar
  • add lemon juice and finely grated lemon rindblend in sifted flour and salt
  • separate eggs
  • beat egg yolk slightly
  • combine with milk
  • stir into creamed mixture
  • beat egg whites til stiff
  • fold into batter add diced drained canned peaches pour into 6 greased custard cups.
  • set in pan of hot water bake 350 degrees for 40 minutes
  • let cool
  • turn out.
