Incredibly smoothly recipe Pat! Thanks so much.. this is actually my first time having a peach smoothly and it was fantastic. It's hard to eat right with diabetes, but when you have tasty recipes to choose from it makes things so much easier!!! 12 years ago when I was diagnosed with diabetes I didn't know how much of an impact it would have on my life... I'd pay over $5000/year in supply costs.. I was worried sick my children may not develop normally, I'd always be worrying about the possible future complications.. I'd find it hard to stay motivated to continue treatment. My friend told me about a Doctor she saw on Oprah.. she said the Doctor created a program on how to reverse diabetes, I found it at http://goawaydiabetes.org I'm frickin tired of worrying about syringes, pens, lancets, pump sets, blood work, IV's so I've been giving it a try... Results so far: My fasting blood sugars were 230-250 range, three weeks after following the program I'm in the 120s.. I'm hoping to get into the 70s and stay there for good. Everything is coming into normal ranges but I think I'll always be diabetic for life. If I don't follow the protocol I'll go back to my old numbers right? Has anyone else tried the program? If so how did it work for you I'd really like to hear.. Thanks so much!

I would make this a 1 person recipe And instead of 2 cups soy milk try 1 cup fat free cashew milk it tastes better and it's a lot creamier instead of 2 bananas Try 5 oz of vanilla Greek yogurt but if you like the banana flavor try adding a teaspoon of banana flavoring And instead of 4 peaches try only one and a half but cut the peaches into chunks and freeze Them Then add your cinnamon and bland. this recipe Is more diabetic friendly and it tastes good. hope you enjoy!

With the demise of the forums and with no more interaction on site with what was a great community and it was a pleasure to get to know so many of you over the years and to have had the privilege of meeting some of you in person. For me now this is just another recipe site like to many on the net, it has lost its specialness, such a pity especially when Scripps changed the name from Recipezaar to Food.com and made this statement sorry cannot replicate here as considered invalid but they basically said yes the community was valuable hence .com was short for community but it was a pack of lies as they were not willing to put the money into that community and got rid of the forums which was the community so for .com has become .crap.
