  1. In a mixing bowl, cream butter, peanut butter, sugar and vanilla.
  2. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  3. Combine flour,cocoa and baking powder; add to creamed mixture just until blended.
  4. Pour into a greased 13-in. x 9-in.x2 in.baking pan.
  5. Bake at 350 for 22-28 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out with moist crumbs (do not overbake - I usually bake mine at the lower end of the time frame).
  6. Cool on a wire rack.
  7. Cut into bars.
  8. Yield: about 2 dozen.
