  1. We liked this but it could have been a little sweeter for us. I used a store brand of hershey's so that might not have been as sweet. My Dh said it was like drinking a peanut butter cup.

  2. I made this peanut butter cocoa for my son. I didn't add whipped cream and more chocolate syrup on top and he liked it so much. Thanks Baby Kato :) Made for Zaar star game

  3. This does taste like a peanut butter cup! (I actually made this twice-once with peanut butter and once with almond butter. Great both ways!) Made for Winter 2010 Comfort Cafe game.

  4. This was a tasty cocoa, but a tad to sweet for even the kids. I think it is because I used a commercial PB with corn syrup in it...we are used to homemade. I will definitely make it again once I make a batch of PB and see if that makes a difference. Thanks for posting this recipe and I will report back with the new findings :o) Made and reviewed for the 35th AUS/NZ Recipe Swap.

  5. Anything that resembles a peanut but cup is gonna be a hit in this house! THIS is exceptional!!! My DH drank his and half of mine. I will be making this again! I used dark chocolate syrup, and homemade peanut butter. Thanks for posting BK! Made for Everyday Holiday Tag.

Tweaks

  1. This is a treat for any peanut butter lover!! :) Enjoyed it after a light dinner!! Used low-fat milk and garnished with chocolate sprinkles instead of syrup!! Thanks BK! :)

  2. Happiness is a warm puppy and a mug of this cocoa. I use natural peanut butter so even the smooth retains some minute peanut "grit", I don't think that this is a bad thing at all (but BK, do you know how hard it is to melt PB into milk? LOL). I used cocoa powder in place of chocolate syrup in an attempt to curb the fat and sugar content as well as using skim milk. Total comfort to the max and don't let the kids know about this or you'll have to fight them off. Made for Photo Tag.
