  1. My extremely picky dog loves these. She begged for the dough while we prepared them. This is a dog that we have had issues with from types of food to even her water bowl. I did use brown rice flour and gluten free oatmeal. Will definitely make for her again.

  2. These were fun to make. We have a 3 pound dog, so halved the recipe and still ended up with a ton. Instead of rolling them out, we just rolled them between our hands and pressed them to the right thickness. Our little pup loves peanut butter and ate these right up! Thanks!

  3. My elderly dog loves these! He has lost teeth over time, but these are not too hard for him to crunch up. I added about 1/4 cup brown sugar to the (halved) recipe to make it a little more enticing, since he is so picky. He's very happy!

  4. These are the easiest dog treats to make and my pooch just loves them. Every time I start making them my dog will just sit next to me until they are finished.

  5. I just made these ! my LABS LOVE THESE ! To make the process easier i put the dough in the fridge for about 45 minutes before putting them on my cookie sheet.... That way you don't need the extra flour and the dough will not stick to your hands ! I also made these by making them like a human peanut butter cookie instead of rolling the dough. I thought 40 minutes in the oven was too long but it really takes that long if you want them to get hard . Great recipe !

Tweaks

  1. I cut the recipe in 1/4 because my pups are small. Less flour and more oatmeal and peanut butter. I rolled the dough into little balls, flattened them, and baked them that way. I don't see any reason for putting them in the fridge so I didn't.

  2. Havn't had my dogs try it yet it's still baking.
