Peanut Butter Pie

  • 12 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 3 34 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 16 ounces frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 9 inches chocolate crumb crusts
  • 13 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips
  • To make a homemade chocolate crumb crust

  • 1 14 cups chocolate crumb wafers (about 20 chocolate wafers)
  • 14 cup sugar
  • 14 cup butter, melted

  • In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese, peanut butter, and confectioners' sugar until smooth.
  • Fold in whipped topping.
  • Spread into crust.
  • Sprinkle with chocolate chips.
  • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
  • To make a homemade chocolate crumb crust:

  • Combine chocolate wafers, sugar, and melted butter and blend well. Press onto the bottom and up the sides of an ungreased 9 inch pie plate. Chill 30 minutes before filling.
