"This is an easy recipe to make with ingredients normally found in the pantry. It can be doubled as I often did when I was head cook for my church."

  1. Delicious! These are very easy but look pretty fancy with the icing swirl. The whole family inhaled them! Used whole wheat pastry flour with great results. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

  2. I have been searching for this recipe for a long time. They bring me back to my elementary school days (way back!!!!). My family scarfed them right up. Did not frost though but I am sure it's delicious. Thanks so much.

  3. These are very yummy. The family especially liked the creamy frosting. I can see why you had to double the recipe for church because they didn't last long at my house. Thanks for a tasty recipe.

I live in a suburb of Oklahoma City, OK. I have two children, one son, one daughter. Both are married. My son has one daughter age 4 and two sons ages 2 and 10 mos. My daughter has one son who is 10 months. I enjoy rubber stamping, scrapbooking, gardening, sewing and my grandchildren. I enjoy snow skiing with my family when we can get away. If I had no responsibilities for a month, I would love to travel the country with no agenda. Just enjoy myself and relax.
