  1. Cook pears in 1/2 inch water in pan, drain, set aside. In pan, saute onion and peppers 6 minutes. Add pears back to pan and add spices, vinegar and sugar, cook on medium heat for 8 minutes. Turn heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes. Keep in refrigerator in container with lid. Use within one week.
