  • Heat oil in wok.
  • Saute astefeodia (hing) and mustard seeds.
  • Let them splutter.
  • When brown, add green chillies.
  • Saute for half a minute and then add green peas,turmeric pd and sugar.
  • Mix well.
  • Add a cup of water.
  • Cover and cook till the peas are soft.
  • Add salt to taste, and desiccated coconut with peppercorns.
  • Sprinkle coriander leaves and serve hot with puris or chappaties.
