"I made a better recipe out of an old favorite of the family. Please use the brand names for the ingredients, Ghirardell Cookie mix, Heath Chips, since it makes a huge difference. All of our family, friends request these cookie bars. Make sure you make two, they disappear f-a-s-t!"

1 (20 ounce) box chocolate chip cookie mix
1 egg
¹⁄₂ cup butter
³⁄₄ cup butterscotch chips
³⁄₄ cup pecans (chopped)
¹⁄₂ cup butterscotch chips (Heath)

Preheat oven 325 degrees. Grease bottom of 13x9x2-inch pan. Place all ingredients in large bowl. Stir together until blended and dough forms. Press dough into pan. Bake 20-25 minutes. Cool and cut into bars.
