- 1 cup crushed pecans
- 1 cup butter
- 1⁄2 cup dark brown sugar
- 3⁄4 cup water
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
directions
- In small saucepan melt butter. When its hot add pecans and toast them until lightly browned, 3-5 minutes.
- Add brown sugar and stir for another 3-5 minutes.
- Mix together cornstarch and water, slowly pour into pecans. Bring to a boil for 1 minute. Lower heat and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve warm in dipping dishes.
