ingredients

1 cup crushed pecans
1 cup butter
¹⁄₂ cup dark brown sugar
³⁄₄ cup water
2 teaspoons cornstarch

directions

In small saucepan melt butter. When its hot add pecans and toast them until lightly browned, 3-5 minutes.
Add brown sugar and stir for another 3-5 minutes.
Mix together cornstarch and water, slowly pour into pecans. Bring to a boil for 1 minute. Lower heat and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serve warm in dipping dishes.
