  • Mix sugar, margarine, 1 t. vanilla, and 1 egg.
  • Stir in flour and press into
  • bottom and ½ inch up sides of ungreased 13 x 9 x 2 pan.
  • Bake until edges
  • are brown at 350 (about 10-15 minutes). Mix brown sugar, corn syrup,
  • vanilla, and eggs.
  • Stir in pecans and pour over crust and bake 25-30
  • minutes.
  • Loosen edges from pan, let cool and cut into bars.
