  1. Heat oven to 350º.
  2. Grease (or use cooking spray) bottom of 13x9-inch rectangular pan.
  3. Melt butter in 2-quart saucepan; stir in flour until smooth.
  4. Stir in brown sugar, corn syrup and 2 eggs until well blended.
  5. Cook over medium heat about 5 minutes, stirring constantly, until bubbly.
  6. Remove from heat.
  7. Stir in vanilla and pecans.
  8. Stir brownie mix, chocolate syrup, water, oil and 3 eggs in medium bowl, using spoon, until well blended.
  9. Spread in pan.
  10. Spoon pecan mixture evenly over top.
  11. Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out clean or almost clean.
  12. Cool completely.
  13. For 36 brownies, cut into 6 rows by 6 rows.
  14. Store tightly covered.
