“A friend gave me this recipe. I haven't tried them as I do not have khoya, but they sound wonderful. :-) Enjoy! The prep time includes the cooking time. I've never made them so I do not know how to divide the time between prep and cooking time. If you make them, please make that correction if you wish. Thanks!”

  1. First combine khoya and sugar in a sauce pan and heat on low, stirring constantly, until it thickens.
  2. When thickened, it should form into a soft mass.
  3. Allow it to cool for approximately 10-12 minutes.
  4. Next you will add the cardamom powder yellow coloring, and combine very well.
  5. Roll a nice amount of dough into a ball (2 inch balls) and press finger into center to make a small well and press 2-3 slices of pistachio in the centers.
  6. Use the same process for the remaining dough.
  7. ENJOY!
