  • 1 quart milk
  • 1 lb soft peppermint stick candy
  • 2 cups half-and-half
  • 2 cups whipping cream

  • Combine milk and candy; cover and refrigerate 12 hours. (Candy will dissolve).
  • Combine candy mixture, half and half, and whipping cream in freezer can of a 1 gallon ice cream freezer.
  • freeze according to manufacturer instructions.
  • Let ripen at least 1 hour.
