Ingredients Nutrition

  • 2 slices white bread, cut into small cubes
  • 1 12 lbs lean ground beef
  • 1 cup finely shredded cheese
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • 34 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons spaghetti sauce
  • 12-23 cup spaghetti sauce

Directions

  1. place all ingredients (except 1/2 to 2/3 cups spaghetti sauce) in a large bowl.
  2. mix thoroughly with clean bare hands.
  3. place meat mixture into a loaf pan (I use stoneware so there is no need to grease it first).
  4. pat top until evenly distributed in the loaf pan.
  5. top with remaining spaghetti sauce.
  6. Stoneware loaf pan: bake at 350 50-60 minutes or until cooked through.
  7. Metal loaf pan: bake at 350 45-50 minutes until cooked through.
  8. Slow Cooker Method: place loaf pan in slow cooker and cook on low for 5 hours.
