Pepperoni 'n Cheese Balls

"Easy to make treat that the kids and grownups alike will love. Cubes of mozzarella and pepperoni slices are enclosed in refrigerator French bread dough and baked. Found this on the internet, but I'm betting it originally came from Pillsbury who makes the dough."

  1. These were really good! I've made them a few times.I did have some trouble rolling out the french bread dough,(the first time I made them) so the next time I made them I used pizza crust instead.

  2. Received rave reviews and a request for the recipe. I couldn't find the French loaf but used Italian loaf. The problem was that it would not unroll so I had to knead and hand roll - I really didn't think it would work but it sure did. I made them 2 hours before serving (but did not bake them), covered them with a damp cloth in the fridge Popped them in the oven just before serving They took exactly 15 minutes in a 375 oven.. The cheese is all melted and the pepperoni gives it a flavow punch. Definately in my do again appies. Thanks Marie it's a winner -- posted May 26, 2005

  3. Very tasty. I placed 1 slice of pepperoni topped with cheese and then an other slice of pepperoni in the center brought up sides to enclose then baked. Made large 16 balls.
