  1. I loved this! I used red lentils, ground cumin, and hot salsa/picante sauce; also, I seeded the jalapeno and was happy with the amount of spice in the sauce. It's really delicious, and it was so easy to make. After cooking in the crockpot, I baked it in a casserole with noodles, with a little bit of shredded cheddar on top. Thanks for sharing...I will be using this recipe a lot!

  2. Great working veg recipe! Really easy to throw together in the morning before work. I had it over pasta & liked it. Tasty. Will make it again. The additional protein from the lentils make it a great meal. Filling.

  3. Just lovely! This was super easy to put together and it was cooked in my 6 quart crockpt in about 5 hours on low. I added a small bottle of hot sauce (was not quite sure what picante sauce was and did not see it at the store) and this was perfect for us: nice and spicy. We served this over spaghetti squash. Would make this again for sure. Thanks for posting!
