2 pint jars
ingredients
- 2 pints small okra
- 1 cup cider vinegar
- 1⁄4 cup water
- 2 hot peppers
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 2 teaspoons dill seeds
- 4 cloves garlic
directions
- Wash okra; bring vinegar, water, and salt to a boil.
- Put okra in pint jars.
- To each pint, add 1 teaspoon dill seed, 2 cloves garlic, and 1 pod pepper.
- Pour boiling brine to cover okra.
- Process in boiling water for 5 minutes.
- Wait 1 month before serving.

This is a great recipe because it only makes 2 pints. I also added mustard seeds and celery seeds to the jar because I like that taste to my pickled okra. I didn't have any cider vinegar so I used white. Very quick and easy to do. I heated my liquids in the microwave and poured them over the spices and tightly packed okra in he jar. Then I just placed them in the hot water bath. I can't wait to taste!
