- 1 lb thick slab bacon
- 16 ounces pineapple chunks in juice
- brown sugar
directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Cut the length of the bacon in half. Open and drain the pineapple. Wrap each chunk of pineapple with a piece of bacon and use a toothpick to keep it wrapped.
- Place the wrap on a metal baking tray with the pineapple facing up. Sprinkle brown sugar over the top.
- Bake until bacon is cooked. Remove from pan and place on a warm plate or serving tray.

Thanks Chef Iron B. This was a tasty appetizer that my guests and my family loved. Very easy to put together and so tasty. The brown sugar really adds something so take the time to put a pinch on top. The flavor is sweet. I served it with cinnamon muffins and fruit and people remarked it would be a great brunch item as well as appetizer. No time listed so I just watched it closely. Definitely a keeper. ChefDLH -
This recipe is too easy to taste this good. Have made this several times now for parties and get togethers, and it's always one of the first things to go. Fantastic recipe!
