Pineapple Black Tea Cooler

"Simple and refreshing... I like to garnish the glasses with big chunks of fresh pineapple and some cherries. I guess you could fancy it up adding some vodka and limoncello... Cooking time is chilling time!"

  1. The flavours of tea and pineapple blend very nicely here. I did not brew my tea for more than a minute as it can take on a bitter taste if brewed for too long. I liked that the pineapple taste was dominant, but that the tea flavour still shone through. Thanks for a lovely recipe! Made for Summer 09 Comfort Cafe.

  2. This is a very refreshing pineapple based drink. Don't think that you will be getting much of a tea flavor in this cooler as the pineapple juice is dominant. If that is what you are looking for add less juice. For myself I'm going to continue making this as written. Made for *Comfort Cafe Summer 2009* game my theme was *Teas Made With Fruit Juices*

  3. This was very good and we almost drank the whole batch before I remembered to get a photo. I used pineapple orange juice as that was what I had on hand. Thanks for posting! This recipe was made for the Comfort Cafe's Jan. '09 tag game.

I am a young aspiring chef from Montreal. I'm a student cook and I work as a barista (fun times!!!) and I have seriously busy days that lasts forever, so now i love quick fix recipes that takes no time to whip up at 11 pm when i get home. Well i was vegan, now I am back to an lacto-ovo diet for the sake of my class. I have to taste meat at school, and I'm ok with that. But at home, only farmer eggs, happy cow milk that comes from small farms.... and yummy honey from my hometown, Percé, Quebec.
