Pineapple Chicken Marinade

"This is the best marinade! It is super simple and lots of flavor. We usually let it set overnight. I have also used this for whole chickens, cornish game hens and pork. I have added a little fresh garlic for an added flavor. ENJOY!"

  1. For the people out there Marinating it for hours,,, Don't ! The acids in the orange juice and pineapple juice will actually start to cook your chicken after about 40 minutes,, which is the maximum I would ever go.

  2. Love it, love it, love it! So simple, yet delicious. I subbed in 2 Tbs of honey for the brown sugar. I grilled the chicken after marinating several hours, then at the last moment before it came off the grill, I basted it with a little reserved pineapple juice and a squirt of honey. Made a lovely glaze. This marinade recipe is a regular at my house!

  3. Holy Cow is this good! My husband and I both nominate this as one of the best recipes of the year...normally he's not big on fruit with meat but the pineapple taste is subtle. We marinated tenderloins overnight and they are deeelish...you need to try this! Next time instead of tenderloins we're going to marinate chicken for the grill.

  4. Trying it now

  5. From my personal experience. This recipe is not good at all. i thought it tasted like you just marinaded the chicken in just soy sauce.. kinda had a bitter taste. Like i said this is personal experiance, not speaking on behalf of everyone else.... I just did not care for this AT ALL
