Pineapple Daiquiri

"Like many daiquiris, a pineapple daiquiri might be too sweet for some people. Ginger adds heat and cuts the sweetness, so the drink has a more complex flavor and a spicy, warming bite. It also helps calm your stomach, later, if you’ve had too many. Add the ginger to your taste – remember, the fresher the ginger, the hotter the flavor. From Temple of Thai website."

  1. Yum yum yum! The food editor of my local paper saw a pic of these, posted on my FB page, and said "Pineapple AND booze? Heck yeah!" I was flattered, as you should be momaphet! Thanks for sharing a lovely cocktail for the tour!

  2. Yum!! We loved this refreshing, tropical daiquiri!! It goes together very quickly and goes down very smoothly. I used 1 tsp. grated ginger and that was perfect for us. We didn't think the drink was too sweet, it was just right. Made for ZWT9 SE Asia for The Apron String Travelers.
