  1. In 2-quart saucepan, combine sugars, pineapple, condensed milk, corn syrup, salt and butter.
  2. Cook to 238 degrees on a candy thermometer, stirring occasionally.
  3. Remove from heat.
  4. Add marshmallows and vanilla.
  5. Stir together to melt marshmallows.
  6. Beat until mixture is heavy and creamy.
  7. Add pecans.
  8. Spread in buttered 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan.
  9. Cool until firm. Cut into squares.
