  • TOPPING:.
  • Place butter in a 9-inch square pan or casserole dish, melt, Add molasses and sugar. Over this arrange pineapple and cherries.
  • CAKE PART:.
  • Cream shortening, sugar and baking soda. Add molasses. Stir in 1/4 of the sifted dry ingredients. Beat in egg. Add remaining flour and sour milk alternately. Beat until smooth. Pour over pineapple and spread to corners. Bake at 350F for 1 hour. Cool 10 minutes, turn upside down.

Her sweets are fantastics, especially her pound cakes, Yummm <br> <br>I guess the dish that I am famous for is my Christmas ham - my family all comes home for Christmas, and if i don't have my ham they are dissapointed, and my grandson wants the pistachio squares!!! so I guess that is the dishes that I'm famous for.
