  • Cover onions with boiling water. Let stand 5 minutes. Drain.
  • Cover again with boiling water for another 5 minutes. Drain.
  • Combine vinegar and sugar and pour over onions. Store in jars in refrigerator. Serve cold.

  1. Very good. The onions I used were very hot. I ran out of regular sugar and used part brown sugar.
