“These Apple pasties are great and very few ingredients, but you will have to make plenty as I discovered because they go fast and everybody wants more. I almost regret starting them as I get plenty of demand from my family for them. I found this in an old english country side cook book, and its so easy and a hit.”

Directions

  1. Peel and core Apples then chop into small pieces and place with butter in saucepan, add 1 and a half cups sugar then cloves.
  2. Heat slowly and gently with lid on so the apples and sugar dont burn or brown. Stir regularly.
  3. The apples should be just tender, then leave aside to cool and remove and discard cloves.
