ingredients
- 1 pita bread, wheat, small, 4-inch diameter
- 1⁄8 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
- 3 tablespoons low-fat cheddar cheese, low-sodium
- 1⁄8 teaspoon oregano, dried
- 1 piece jalapeno (optional)
directions
- Slice open pita and brush very lightly with olive oil.
- Cut into triangular wedges.
- Sprinkle cheese evenly over pita wedges.
- Season with a pinch of oregano.
- Heat under broiler until cheese is melted.
- Add a slice of jalapeno, if desired.

<p>I've have been a FT student for the last two years, doing PT for the next year when I will hopefully be accepted to nursing school for my BSN.</p>
<p>I cook to eat and that's about it, LOL! I have to use a recipe while my hubby on the other hand just tosses things in a pot. I love having a well stocked pantry, and full array of spices.</p>
