Ingredients Nutrition

  • 14 pint milk (just enough to soak bread with)
  • 4 slices bread
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 tablespoon butter (enough to fry bread with)
  • 4 tablespoons honey

Directions

  1. Soften slices of dry bread (from which the crusts have been cut) in milk.
  2. Put a little honey on each slice.
  3. then dip in beaten egg.
  4. fry in a little butter.
  5. Serve hot with cream.
