  1. Melt butter in a 10 inch pie plate.
  2. Coat berries with 1 cup sugar, set aside.
  3. Mix flour, baking powder, and 1 cup sugar. Stir in milk and beat well. Pour into butter and mix lightly.
  4. Pour berries over batter and spread evenly.
  5. Bake at 375 degrees for 45-60 minutes.
