- 16 1⁄2 ounces bread flour
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1⁄2 teaspoon yeast
- 1 1⁄3 cups ice water
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons table salt (TABLE salt)
- 1 tablespoon oil (unflavored, like vegetable)
directions
- Mix flour, sugar, and yeast into a food processor and mix well.
- Add 1 1/3 cups ice water and process 10 seconds, until mixed.
- Let rest 10 minutes.
- Add 1 1/2 tsp table salt and 1 Tablespoon of vegetable oil. Process 30 - 60 seconds.
- Turn out onto a lightly floured board (or oiled surface) and knead for about 1 minute.
- ball up the dough, put into a lightly greased bowl, refrigerate at least 24hrs up to 3 days (3 days is better).
- Divide dough in half, ball up, put on greased pan, cover with oiled plastic wrap and lest rest for 1 hour.
