ingredients

1 lb seasoned pork sausage
2 tablespoons ketchup
¹⁄₂ teaspoon oregano
16 ounces Velveeta cheese
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
¹⁄₂ teaspoon garlic salt
1 loaf cocktail party rye bread

directions

Fry sausage and drain well.
Melt cheese by cubing and adding it to the sausage with all other ingredients except the bread.
Spread this mixture on slices of rye bread and bake at 370 for 5 minutes.

This is such a fast easy recipe and everyone likes it. If you don't like Rye (which I don't like but after you put the sausage mixture on it, you really can't even taste the rye bread), they sell the little bread in other flavors like sourdough. My friend has made these for years and her kids like them so much that she puts them together and freezes them. The kids take a few out of the freezer and microwave them for snacks.
