  • Brown chicken in the sesame oil.
  • Remove chicken from the pan and add the jam, soy sauce, ginger, garlic and vermouth.
  • Stir until smooth and hot including any bits from the chicken.
  • Put the chicken back in the pan and simmer till chicken is cooked about 15 minutes.
  • Stir in whipping cream and sauteed mushrooms.
  • Serve over rice.
