Pomegranate Pork Chops

- 2 pork chops
- 2 tablespoons butter, unsalted
- 11 ounces pomegranate juice (preferably freshly made)
- 6 teaspoons sugar
directions
- melt the butter in a cast iron pan
- put the Pork chops on top of the butter.
- then add Pomegranate juice and cook it for about 30 minutes over medium-low to low heat, occasionally adding 1 to 2 teaspoons of sugar to the juice.
- Then, after about 30 minutes, remove the chops and let them cool.
- Meanwhile, turn up the heat on the Pomegranate juice cooking liquid, reduce it by about half (to concentrate the flavors).
- Serve the Pomegranate Juice concentrate as a "gravy" to pour over the Pork chops.
