Pomodoro and Basilico Sauce With Gnocchi

  • Heat olive oil in a saucepan and cook the onion, garlic, and mushrooms until soft.
  • Add the diced tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Add the basil, salt and pepper.
  • Cook the Gnocchi as directed on package. Drain well. Toss the Gnocchi with the sauce and sprinkle with the parmesan cheese and Mozzarella cheese.
  • Put under the broiler to melt the cheese. Enjoy!

I live in Utah and I'm the mother of 3 beautiful children. I teach piano lessons part time. I am trying to find new recipes that my kids will like. My 4-year-old is especially picky; he will eat very little and does NOT like new things! So I am on the hunt for good kid-friendly recipes.
