Pop Pop's Turkey Chili

"My mom made this when I was growing up and I don't think my dad ever found out it used ground turkey instead of ground beef. My grandfather used to make this because he was watching his fat and cholesterol after heart surgery."

  1. Made this chili primarily to freeze, but kept out enough for a meal for the 2 of us! I did cut the chili powder back to 1 teaspoon, used slightly less cumin than listed, added a 3rd can of kidney beans & then used lemon pepper instead of the usual S&P! All that for another GREAT TASTING CHILI! I might add a can of drained diced tomatoes when I thaw out a 2-serving packet of it, but that's about all!
