ingredients
- 1⁄4 cup tomato soup, undiluted
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1⁄4 cup uncooked rice
- 1 egg
- 1⁄4 cup minced onion
- 2 tablespoons parsley
- 2 teaspoons salt
directions
- Mix all ingredients together.
- Shape mixture into balls.
- Brown.
- Blend in rest of soup and 1 cup of water.
- Cover and simmer for 40 minutes.

This was a pretty good starter recipe for meatballs. Since I was making spaghetti and meatballs, I used spaghetti sauce instead of the tomato soup. Next time I would add some oregano or basil and possibly some freshly grated parmesan cheese. But again, great starter recipe. This has a lot of room to deviate and still be very good. Thank you!
